plot ideas.

this is just some stuff we're looking for! we're totally open to plotting with anyone and everyone and this list is non-exhaustive! if you feel like you have a line that would suit us or if you just want to plot out an organic relationship, feel free to leave us a comment or pm! yifan's long app of doom is here if you'd like to know what makes him tick.

➡ Aspiring Death Eaters or those who have already been recruited - Politically, Yifan leans towards the side of the Death Eaters and Voldemort mostly because he's been brought up on purist ideals and Voldemort's the closest voice to his own in the political arena. He does, however, have several misgivings about what Voldemort is advocating, particularly the use of violence against muggles (they managed to bomb half of freaking London back in the war, are you sure it's wise to do that?!). I'd like for him to kind of actually decide to throw his lot in with Voldemort during the course of the game, either because his friends have been already recruited and he's also been asked to join in spite of his misgivings or maybe people to pull him in deeper into the whole political thing. As a bonus, someone who's encouraging him to indulge more in the Dark Arts would be great!

➡ Pureblood family lines and relations - This particular branch of the Wu clan migrated from Guangzhou to England just before WWI happened, and they've been based in England ever since. They're a rather prominent clan politically back in China and Yifan's father works as the liaison for magical affairs between Hong Kong and England in the Department of International Magical Cooperations. So, needless to say, he would be rather familiar with most of the pureblood families around during his childhood and increasingly while his parents were trying to matchmake him! And if your muse is a Chinese pureblood, I'd love to explore the possibility of obscure family lines e.g. fourth cousins twice removed or something!

➡ Friends and/or enemies - Yifan's not really the type to keep close friends but he does have a wide circle of acquaintances. He has an elitist nature that is a really toxic part of his personality, so if you're really good or if you have a prominent family name, then chances are you're going to be considered a better friend. He also is the kind to go out of his way to make friends with people who are particularly talented or influential to advance his own position. Opportunistic? Yes. On the other hand, if he doesn't like you, or if you've offended him somehow, congratulations! You've just gained a super creative and vindictive enemy who lets personal grudges get in the way all the time.

➡ People crashing into his bubble - Yifan's social circle is very, very contained - limited to the elite upper crust of society. He's not the type of person to go out of his way to go interact with muggleborns unless he absolutely has to, and I'd love for someone who has totally opposing and contrasting views and ideals to him to kind of crash into this bubble that he's created and turn his world upside down, especially when it has an effect on his own political views. On that note, he's pretty good at making it seem like his life is completely put together and just peachy, but there are cracks on that surface and if someone could hammer away at those cracks in game, that would also be awesome c:
